Health & Safety
Alpha Sigma Tau strives to be the safest place for women on campus. We believe that when our decisions are guided by our values and the skills we've learned, we make good and safe decisions for ourselves and our Sisters. Here are just a few ways we try to make Alpha Sigma Tau the safest place for women on campus.
Leading the way in ending sexual assault and relationship violence
Available to all collegiate members, Not Anymore is an engaging online program designed to educate members on sexual assault and relationship violence. It uses honest and compelling videos to educate Sisters about consent, sexual assault, bystander intervention, and healthy relationships. Not Anymore also helps our chapter create a shared sense of responsibility and care for one another.
Equipping our newest members with the tools they need to navigate life on campus
Required for all new members, GreekLifeEdu is an online program that empowers our new members with knowledge and skills to make healthy decisions to support their personal wellbeing and navigate possible challenges and decisions they may face in college. The program focuses on three core subject areas that are relevant on today's college campuses—alcohol, hazing, and sexual assault.
Ensuring a safe and enriching experience
Alpha Sigma Tau does not permit or tolerate hazing in any way, shape, or form. The act of hazing is the antithesis of what Alpha Sigma Tau stands for, and it has no place in our Sisterhood. We provide an anonymous phone line for anyone to report a suspected or recent hazing incident. Call 1-888-NOT-HAZE (1-888-668-4293) or visit this page to report hazing online.
